General Configuration

This content type is used in the _site-config section to set up some basic options for the site including site title, Google Analytics, etc.

  1. Name
    • Name is a required field in T4 and is not used other than for reference with this content type.
  2. Site Name
    • Enter the unit name to be used as screen reader text for the Site Logo.
  3. Site Title
    • Enter the name that should be used for HTML title tags throughout the site, e.g. "Site Name - University of Florida"
  4. Google Analytics
    • Enter the Google Analytics ID for the site to enable tracking.
  5. Site Root Section
    • Select the root section of your site to be used in the header for a home link on the Site Logo.
  6. Stats Section
    • Select the section that contains multiple Stat content types and a Build JSON File content type to enable randomized Stat Breaker feature.
  7. Biographies Section
    • Select the section that contains multiple Bio content types and a Build JSON File content type to enable randomized Bio Scroll feature.
  8. Site Logo
    • Select an SVG of your unit logo here to enable the Unit Header. For more information on how to create this SVG file please see the Creating an SVG Logo section.
  9. Site Specific Search
    • Check this box if you would like the search bar in the header of the site to only search your website via site:yoursite.ufl.edu.
      Note: If you check this option you must have your Site Root Section set to the actual root section of your site that is the name of your site, e.g. webservices.it.ufl.edu
